Working with an artisan charcutier and a Michelin-starred chef, we designed the interior for their new tasting room located close to the factory in small disused stone barn.
It was our aim to create an exceptional space which would represent the values of the manufacturer and would act as a theatrical showcase for their produce. The pared-back materiality of the space is based around charred oak cladding, which hides a white tiled aging cabinet. The sliding walls, like a curtain, part to reveal the carefully aged charcuterie – ready for tasting.
