Nestled between land and sea, at the top of a tranquil tidal creek, the Millbrook Inn has held a special place in the hearts of locals and honorary locals for generations.
Our clients had acquired the pub following its closure during the pandemic. What began as a straightforward refurbishment quickly developed into a full rebuild and business re-positioning. Working on such an iconic pub brought with it a real challenge. How could we create a place that was workable and future-ready whilst preserving, and even reinforcing, its beloved identity?
As well as sensitively updating the pub’s public areas and upgrading the back of house, kitchen and storage facilities, we’ve put in a new upstairs dining room and are in the process of adding 6 bedrooms. Additionally, Eldwin designed and implemented a new brand identity and worked with the client to restructure operations around a new forward-looking business plan.
